Ta – Dah!

At last! I have some pics of my Young Frankenstein yarn!
It is a crazy mix of merino, mohair and wensleydale locks and mulberry silk hankies.

My best review ever

Yesterday my blog was reviewed on a very nice and interesting website, and not with just a couple of lines, but with a professional post including many of my yarns.
Go have a look at Le Tre Comari and enjoy all the news and curiosities this unconventional blog is filled with!

Gals, thank you so much for including me and my work in your posts and for leaving me a comment here!
And many thanks to the dearest friend of mine who made this happen!

Celebrating 15 years of handspinning!!! Any suggestion?

No, people, I’m not that old – I only started handspinning when I was very, very young ;)
And so, this Christmas I’ll be celebrating my 15 years of insane handspinning activity.
I’m planning to prepare something special, maybe a giveaway or a contest – still don’t know.
I asked an advice to my EtsyFAST teamies and now I’m asking you: any suggestion?
In moments like this, when I have to find an answer, my handpainted merino is my only source of inspiration…
And yet, look at the quantity I drumcarded today:
blue and roses
teal and yellow
Help!

Young Frankenstein

Every year, during Christmas Holidays, we use to watch Young Frankenstein movie at least once.
To my husband and me, it’s like listening to our special song.
However, this time I would like to add something new to our tradition – yes, I would like to spin a Young Frankenstein yarn. Not a yarn inspired by the movie, but a yarn inspired by what the movie means to us.
It’s turning out to be not as easy as I had planned…Stay tuned for news!

P.S. My old Punk Phantasy would have been perfect for the occasion, but…
