Creating and handspinning my artyarn skein for the Handspun Revolution Exhibition that Lexi Boeger (PluckyFluff) is preparing in Lillehammer for next May, 7th has been an exciting experience.
This is what Lexi wrote on her blog, when calling for submissions.

I want to take a yarn from every single spinner out there willing and connect them all into one single continuous strand. One yarn made from many. An example of our collective individuality culminating into a single beautiful whole. Which is exactly what the Handspun Revolution is.

I couldn’t resist the temptation. I’ve been learning so much on Lexi’s books and I consider myself -- presomptuous of me? -- a little part of her Handspun Revolution crowd.

Can you imagine my face when I watched on Facebook this video, showing the winding of (hopefully) the world’s largest skein of HAND-SPUN yarn?

I’m so proud to know that my little skein is there :-)
